The 10 Year Celebration Was A Great Success
As I begin this update, I am reminded of how blessed we are to be supported by such wonderful people. The 10 Year Celebration banquet in Katy, Texas last month was a huge success, and I believe highlighted what God has been doing through AOM in Mozambique. We had close to 100 people turn out for the evening! Many were long time friends or supporters, and several traveled long distances attend the evening.

Simply to say “thank you” to Jennifer Day and Diane Walker and their small army of volunteers seems inadequate for their long hours of work, but we do say thank you. We also want to thank David Ruzicka, Des Stephenson, and Jack English for taking the time to plan and speak at the event. Their firsthand testimonies of what they have experienced and seen God doing in Mozambique added a level of authenticity and humor to the evening. Yes, we are so blessed.
We Need $5000 To Replace A Vehicle
Lord willing, we hope to replace our 2010 Ford Everest which has roughly 170,000 miles on it. A friend in South Africa is replacing one of his business vehicles in early March and has offered to sell this truck to us rather than trading it in. This Ford Ranger will have about 55,000 miles on it and even has some remaining warranty. It is in excellent condition and comes with a few extras like a canopy.
Just a couple weeks ago, our Board approved us to move forward in trying to buy this vehicle. We will begin the process of selling the Everest in South Africa and our Board also voted to set aside funds from the banquet. We estimate on current exchange rates that we will still need another $5000 to make this purchase. Can you help? Every donation will help close this gap.
This second-hand truck we want to buy is similar to this one and also includes a canopy.
Year End donations for the truck can be made by Clicking Here , or by mailing a check to:

A lot has happened over the past few weeks, and we find ourselves unexpectedly still in the States this holiday season. We were planning an “African Christmas” in Mozambique, but because of family needs, we had to change our tickets to stay a few weeks extra. We would appreciate continued prayers as Lisa’s mom continues to transition into her new living situation and as Gabriel makes the transition from military to civilian life after an injury. The blessing in all this is that our immediate family will be able to spend some time together for the first time in over a year. Scott returns to Africa on December 31st, Jayden on January 2nd, and Lisa on January 14th after Mariah returns to college.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support of our ministry!
