Spring Video Update 2022
We hope you enjoy this video report this month. We like providing these from time to time as it lets you “see” and experience our ministry in a different way. We have included a personal testimony from one of the students Scott taught up in the northern part of Mozambique this last month. Scott was blessed to be a guest teacher in a training school our friends run. Scott taught a course called, Discipleship, Evangelism and Church Planting to 20 students. Family Update
May usually means graduations, and our family was excited to celebrate our son-in-law’s graduation from Abilene Christian University. Michael graduated with degrees in engineering and in physics. We are so proud of him. We might point out that he was the only graduate from that department to complete both programs! The weekend was extra fun as Scott’s parents traveled from Colorado down to Texas to attend the graduation as well, giving them the opportunity to meet Michael for the first time, as they were not able to attend the wedding back in the height of the pandemic. We took advantage of the time there to help them move out of their apartment as they await a move to begin their new jobs.
The rest of the family is doing good. Jayden has finished his studies for the year and is working full time as a pharmacy technician in Springfield, Illinois. He is glad to be taking a break from classes over the summer break. Gabe is doing the best he has been in a long time, and were are thankful. He is still working at Target, but has taken up body building and is thinking of entering his firstcompetition in October if he can meet his goals.
Lisa is still busy writing. She has just completed her last contract with a “traditional” publisher, and is now working just for herself and publishing “independently” on Amazon. Her new series is doing very well with the 4th book in the series being released later this month.
